Mid-Autumn Festivals

The mid-autumn festivals is celebrated inChinatown with festive street light-ups and bazaar stalls selling mooncakes, pomelos, tea and an assortments of festive goodies. Over at the Chinese garden, huge themed lanterns dot the gardenscape while the Singapore River celebrates the romance of the moon with water themed lanterns and activities at the waterfront promenade.

Singapore JewelFest
(29 Sep 2005 to 16 Oct 2005)

Supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, the Singapore JewelFest 2005 is a nation-wide festival which will add vibrancy to the retail scene of Singapore in the month of October.
This festival also reinforces Singapore's position as the leading jewellery retail hub of the region, bringing together Singapore's top couture and chain jewellers, as well as International jewellery houses to showcase the latest and newest collections of jewellery designs in Singapore.
It will be launched in the heart of Orchard Road at the "Jewel Pavilion" located at Civic Plaza, Ngee Ann City.
