Shop till you drop from July 5 to September 1 as the Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival 2008 is here to tempt you with promotions and bargains.

Organised by Ministry of Tourism, Tourism Malaysia and Shopping Malaysia Secretariat, the Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival will be launched with excitement in five major shopping centres located in Klang Valley.

The Minister of Tourism, YB Dato’ Sri Azalina Dato’ Othman Said will be launching the event at participating malls from 9.30am all the way till the finale at Bukit Bintang at 8pm.

The launch kicks off at Sunway Pyramid, 1 Utama, Ikano & The Curve, Mid Valley Megamall and Bukit Bintang. From the moment of the launch till the end of the shopping season, shoppers can look forward to themed sale promotions, shopping contests, redemption programmes, carnivals, late night sales and entertainment shows.

MasterCard Worldwide, the official card of the Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival presents the ‘Nationwide Cardholder Usage Contest' with its astounding RM100, 000 cash prize. Each transaction made with a MasterCard credit, prepaid or debit card within Malaysia, entitles the cardholder to an automatic entry and a chance to win this fantastic prize.

Catch late night shopping sprees at Pavilion KL on July 5, JB City Square on August 5, Sunway Pyramid on August 29 and Gurney Plaza, Penang on August 31. Patrons of the Giant Hypermarket in Bandar Puteri Puchong and Bachang Utama, Melaka will be happy to know of the extended late hours on August 2, 30 and 31.
